Reno, Nevada — If you plan it right, the snacks at your Feb. 11 football game party will be as talked about as the big play. When Reno asked readers to submit a recipe that would make him worthy of MVP, Mary His Pincolini submitted the following recipe.
Shrimp Dip I.5 pounds shrimp, chopped 8 ounces softened cream cheese 2 tablespoons sour cream 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce 1 teaspoon lemon juice 1/2 teaspoon ground red pepper 1 clove minced garlic 1-12 ounce bottle chili sauce Chili sauce minced onion 1/2 sliced black olives 3/4°C 1 small bell pepper, seeded and chopped 2C of shredded mozzarella Corn chips and crackers Finely chop the shrimp and set aside In a large bowl, combine the cream cheese and sour cream. Add remaining ingredients except mozzarella cheese. Add shrimp and stir slowly. Transfer to a nice serving bowl. Top with cheese. Serve with large flat tortilla chips or crackers.
