The Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 are set to be officially unveiled at the Galaxy Unpacked event next month on July 10. However, things aren’t looking good for potential buyers as the full specifications of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 have been leaked ahead of the event.
The Galaxy Z Fold 6 doesn’t offer any particular improvements over its predecessor.

Galaxy Z Fold 6 specifications SmartPrix IssuedAccording to the company’s report, the new device will come with a 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x screen with HD+ resolution (2,376 x 968 pixels), a 22:9 aspect ratio, and a 120Hz refresh rate. The internal screen is a 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x panel with QXGA+ resolution (2,160 x 1,856 pixels), a 4:3.4 aspect ratio, and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The phone is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, 12GB RAM, and 512GB storage. There is 484GB of free storage, which is 31GB more than its predecessor. The device is also available in 256GB and 1TB storage versions.
Its dimensions when folded are 153.5 x 68.1 x 12.1 mm, and when unfolded it is 153.5 x 132.6 x 5.6 mm. It weighs 239g, which is 13g lighter than the Galaxy Z Fold 5.
The camera configuration on the Galaxy Z Fold 6 is the same as the Galaxy Z Fold 5. It features a 50MP main rear camera with OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 10MP telephoto camera with OIS (3x optical zoom). The main rear camera supports 8K 30fps video recording and 4K 120fps slow-motion video recording.
Additionally, the cover screen has a 10MP front-facing camera, while the inner screen has a 4MP (4-in-1 pixel binning with a 16MP sensor) front-facing camera.
Connectivity features on the Galaxy Z Fold 6 include GPS, 5G (dual nano SIM card slot + eSIM), 4G, Wi-Fi 6E, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 5.3, UWB, NFC, and USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5Gbps) Type-C port. It comes in three colours – Navy, Pink, and Silver Shadow.
Unfortunately, the phone is still powered by the same 4,400mAh battery as its predecessor, so we’re unlikely to see any real improvements in battery life. The report doesn’t say anything about the IP rating, speakers, fingerprint reader, or charging speeds, but we expect them to be the same as the Galaxy Z Fold 5.

There were rumors that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 would get a slight increase in battery capacity, but that doesn’t seem to be true, at least according to this new report.
But it looks like Samsung is trying to squeeze slightly more battery life out of the same battery capacity: reports claim the Z Fold 6 will last up to 18 hours on both cellular (one hour longer) and Wi-Fi networks, up to 23 hours of video playback (two hours longer), and up to 77 hours of music playback (four hours longer).
According to this leak (and previous reports), the Galaxy Z Fold 6 is thinner and lighter than its predecessor, has a shorter and wider display, and will reportedly feature 4K 120fps video recording for slow-motion videos. It will also reportedly have a titanium frame, just like the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
