The new retro-inspired RPG Sea of Stars has hit a new sales milestone in the week since its release on multiple platforms, including Switch.
Sabotage revealed in a social media update that the game sold over 250,000 copies in its release week. This follows a previous update that took place within 24 hours of the game’s launch, which revealed that sales had increased by 100,000 copies.
The team once again thanked its fans for their support, this time noting that sales for the past week have already exceeded initial year projections. oh!
This latest retail update includes all platforms, making the game available not only on Nintendo Switch, but also on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.This game is now also available on Xbox Game Pass serviceSo probably more people are playing the game.
If you haven’t tried Sea of Stars yet, there’s a demo available for download on the Switch eShop. In our own review for Nintendo Life, we gave the game an “excellent” score and called it an instant classic. We’re also big fans of our sister sites Push Square and Pure Xbox.
