Some fast food items have somehow achieved legendary status among diners. For example, McDonald’s hash browns are perfectly crispy and crunchy, making them a mouth-watering breakfast item. Some people want to know how to get golden deliciousness at home.
There are also secret sauces created for different establishments and their menus, such as Chick-fil-A’s trademark sauce, which some say can be purchased at Walmart under the name Great Value. If you love fried chicken wings, there’s a good chance you’ve tried Wingstop and its popular ranch sauce.
If you’ve ever wondered how to make it yourself, people online have turned to curious connoisseurs and now popular fast food enthusiast and TikToker Jordan (@jordan_the_stallion8) decided to share how to make Wingstop’s famous ranch sauce.
Jordan is used to sharing secret recipes for products from many famous chain restaurants, including Taco Bell’s Baja Blast and Costco’s macaroni and cheese. Jordan has often framed his revelations as a form of revenge for perceived slights from fast food chains, and his decision to reveal Wingstop’s ranch recipe echoes this. applies in the same context.
“So people are wondering if I have a recipe for Wingstop Ranch, and of course I do,” he begins. “I always carry a secret recipe book with me, but the truth is, I never even thought of sharing it until I went to Wingstop.”
He continued, “I’m a pretty gullible guy. I heard Wingstop has a ranch fountain. They’ll actually give you a ranch fountain if you ask.”
Jordan said she was disappointed to learn that the fountain was simply fiction. “So I went there and asked if I could get a ranch fountain, and they said, ‘Sure, you can sit in the lobby and we’ll bring you a ranch fountain.’
Jordan said he waited about an hour and 20 minutes before realizing “there is no such thing as a ranch fountain.”
The clip then cuts to Jordan reading a secret recipe book and begins explaining how people can get the delicious flavor of dipped chicken for themselves.
Jordan says the key to getting the exact taste of ranch comes down to the ranch seasoning packets, and home chefs can adjust the salt content of these packets.
“Well, the Wingstop Ranch recipe is buttermilk, mayonnaise, and a pack of ranch seasonings. But what many people don’t know is that Wingstop Ranch is always very salty, but the seasoning packs… “We have recipes and we can adjust the salinity of the ranch to make it really delicious,” he says.

The TikToker then explains exactly what’s inside these packets. 1/2 cup dried buttermilk powder, 3 tablespoons dried parsley, 1 tablespoon granulated garlic, 2 teaspoons granulated onion, 2 teaspoons dried dill, 1 teaspoon dried onion flakes, 1 teaspoon dried chives, 1 teaspoon salt, and 4 tablespoons mayonnaise oz. and 8 oz. of buttermilk. Have fun and enjoy the ranch,” he said, concluding the video.
One commenter responding to Jordan’s video said there’s no great secret to the making of Wingstop’s ranch sauce, writing: Wingstop uses the instructions exactly as they are on the seasoning packages I worked there. ”
Another person said they wanted to know exactly what seasoning the chain puts on its fries, rather than ranch sauce. “Forget about ranch. Can you season your fries? These are the best fries ever,” they wrote.
Others were completely convinced that Jordan had not actually written anything in his secret recipe book and that it was all a sham.
“The book is blank and I feel like I have all the secret recipes memorized,” one person wrote.
One person echoed, “Your book is empty. I have saved a lot of your videos…are you just memorizing these?!”
As for when Jordan’s next “Release Recipe as Revenge” type video will be uploaded, viewers are left wondering which fast food chain will be the next victim.
One commenter said, “I don’t understand why these restaurants would do business with this guy.”
