Normally I’d recommend making a burger patty with just salt and pepper, but since I want a hearty, spicy burger, I’ll need a few extra ingredients to hold everything together. First, prepare 1 pound of ground beef, choosing a high-fat blend to make your burgers juicier. Next, get onion powder, cumin, garlic, egg, and bread crumbs to season and tie the beef. You’ll also need a can of Chipotle adobo. Use both chili and sauce.
You’ll also need sliced cheese (we like provolone), mayonnaise, salt, avocado, and a hamburger bun. For a hearty burger like this, we prefer a good, sturdy brioche bun, but any bread will do.
