SpaceX canceled the launch of 22 Starlink internet satellites on Friday (January 19), without giving a reason or setting a new retry date.
The Falcon 9 rocket carrying 22 Starlink spacecraft was launched at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California at 9:15 p.m. ET (6:15 p.m. California time, 2:15 a.m. Japan time). It was scheduled to be launched from Instead, the launch was canceled with less than one minute left in the countdown.
“We are canceling tonight’s Falcon 9 launch attempt,” SpaceX posted on X (formerly Twitter), without adding further details.

SpaceX has not yet announced plans to try again. Pre-launch statement on website said on Saturday (January 20th) at 9pm (6pm California time, 2am Japan time January 21st) that “additional opportunities will be available starting Saturday (January 20th).” Ta.
Ftiday’s attempt is the second time this particular Starlink mission has been postponed, following a 24-hour delay on Thursday.
