SpaceX is targeting the launch of its Falcon 9 rocket and 22 Starlink Internet satellites from Launch Complex 40 at Space Force Station Cape Canaveral, Fla., on Saturday at 9:05 p.m. EDT, so follow the live update below. .
Space Force forecasters finally reported that weather conditions were 95% “as expected.”
After taking off and flying southeast, the Falcon 9 will fly along a southeast trajectory and land on a “read-only” drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean.
If all goes according to schedule, this will be the Space Coast’s 44th launch of the year and, following the launch of Crew 7 from the Kennedy Space Center to the International Space Station early this morning, there will be 2 launches from the Space Coast within 18 hours. It will be the second time.

9:05 PM EDT: SpaceX launched Falcon 9 with 22 Starlinks satellites from Space Force Station Cape Canaveral. This will be the company’s second flight of the day. Just under 18 hours ago, NASA’s Crew-7 mission launched from the nearby Kennedy Space Center to the International Space Station with three astronauts and one astronaut on board. The mission is scheduled to dock at the space station at 8:50 a.m. EDT on Sunday after a 30-hour journey in orbit.
