The aroma of spices is pleasant and the nuts are delicious!

1 large egg white
2 teaspoons vanilla essence
1 cup unblanched almonds
1 cup half pecans
1 cup shelled walnuts
1 cup unsalted cashew nuts
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
4 teaspoons cinnamon powder
2 teaspoons grated ginger
1 teaspoon nutmeg powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons water

– In a large bowl, whisk together the egg whites and vanilla until melted. Stir in nuts. Combine sugar, spices, and salt in a small bowl. Add to nut mixture and toss to coat.
– Transfer to a greased 3-qt. slow cooker. Cover and cook on high for 1 1/2 hours, stirring every 15 minutes. Gradually add water and stir. Cover and cook on low heat for 20 minutes.
– Spread on wax paper. Cool completely. Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
