MSI has announced the launch of its first gaming handheld device. However, in the official teaser, the manufacturer did not say much about the device. We’ve only scratched the surface on some of the design details of the portable gaming device. However, soon after the official teaser was released, the game console appeared on his JD.com.
According to a poster shared by MSI at an in-store event, the gaming handheld device is called the MSI CLAW. This photo also suggests that the Chinese consumer will be getting a portable gaming console bundled with his latest 2024 MSI gaming laptop.
The in-store event poster for the MSI CLAW game console did not include detailed specifications. But Intel has responded. Official teaser video shared by MSI on X (Old Twitter) Comes with three thinking face emojis. This interaction suggests that new Intel Core Ultra processors could power future gaming handhelds.
However, there is no official announcement from MSI regarding the specifications of the CLAW gaming handheld, so it is still possible that it will be equipped with AMD Ryzen APUs instead of Intel Meteor Lake processors. ASUS ROG Ally (curr. $700 on Amazon) and Lenovo Legion Go (curr. $900 on Amazon), two of the competitors for the upcoming MSI console are powered by AMD Z1 APUs.
