We make brightly colored and flavorful tofu and cabbage bowls using a variety of grains as a base. The grains, vegetables, and tofu add texture, weight, and protein, but the real star is the tangy sauce made from chili crisps, garlic, and soy sauce, sweetened with ketchup. Brushing the tofu and cabbage before baking will caramelize and soften the sauce. Drizzle a little over the bowl at the end to keep it bright and crisp. Toss fresh cherry tomatoes with chili crisps for a juicy, spicy garnish, but feel free to leave them out if you don’t have any on hand.
