TCL has announced a number of new Android smartphones as part of the TCL 50 series.
At CES 2024, TCL just announced the TCL 50 series and plans to launch a total of seven new smartphones in the coming months. Yes, seven.
This series includes the following new devices:
- TCL50SE
- TCL50 5G
- TCL 50XE NXTPAPER 5G
- TCL 50XL NXTPAPER 5G
- TCL 50XL 5G
- TCL XE 5G
- TCL50LE
Five of these devices will be introduced in the US: two NXTPAPER releases, XL 5G, XE 5G, and LE.
TCL did not say how much these devices will cost, when they will be available, or if they will provide full specs.
All we know are a few important details about some models. TCL 50 XL 5G 6.8-inch FHD+ 120Hz display with 8GB RAM and 5,010 mAh battery. The TCL 50 XE 5G comes with a 6.6-inch HD+ 90Hz display, 8GB RAM, 5,010 mAh battery, and a 50MP camera. The TCL 50 LE is described as a “powerful addition” to the lineup, with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, a 6.6-inch HD+ 90Hz display, a 13MP camera, and a 4,000mAh battery.
TCL also plans to debut two new NXTPAPER tablets, the 14 Pro (presumably with a 14-inch display, but TCL hasn’t actually confirmed that in the press release) and the Tab 10 NXTPAPER 5G. be. do Equipped with a 10-inch display.
