PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) — Thousands of residents in eastern Colorado’s Pueblo County are experiencing a series of power outages early Wednesday morning that are believed to be caused by severe weather.
Black Hills Energy reported that more than 3,000 customers living along Highway 50 from eastern Pueblo County to Rocky Ford were the first to be affected by the outages.
In an update, Black Hills Energy said power has been restored to all but 611 customers. The remaining customers are all located between Manzanora and Fowler and report downed power lines.
There was no immediate word on when the remaining suspensions would be lifted.
