TThe two-day Tamil Nadu Global Investors Meet (GIM), the government’s ambitious mega-event, opened on January 7 at the Chennai Trade Center. This time, nine partner countries and more than 30 countries will participate.
The slogan of a $1 trillion economy has been one of the Stalinist regime’s loudest slogans since May 2021.

GIM has been held twice in the past in Tamil Nadu, in 2015 and 2019, but this will be the first time under the MK Stalin government.
The government’s goal is to create more jobs for rural youth and the female workforce. Another region that has seen some development is Krishnagiri and Hosur regions. The electric vehicle manufacturing market in this region is rapidly growing.
