The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) maintains all security screening for departing and connecting passengers. TSA screens people arriving from their origin in the United States or the Nordtern Marina Islands, so they do not have to go through TSA again on arrival. However, if you arrive from Honolulu and have a subsequent connection, you will still need to go through a security checkpoint as your baggage will come into contact with U.S. Customs.
United Airlines operations in faraway Guam
The Chicago-based airline is operating 680 flights in Guam this month.
customs facilities
All flights to and from Guam require customs and immigration, so both arriving and departing passengers blend together in the airport’s post-security concourse. The only entrance to the terminal is through a security checkpoint, and the only exit is through immigration. One exception is when arriving in Honolulu, where you will be directed to a separate arrivals corridor. What makes this unique is that those arriving from ports other than Honolulu can stop for a meal before clearing immigration and entering Guam.
