Sept 5 (Reuters) – Tropical Storm Lee is forming east of the Lesser Antilles and is expected to rapidly intensify into a very dangerous hurricane by the end of the week, the U.S. National Hurricane Center said on Tuesday. Announced in late advisory.
The storm was located about 1,315 miles (2,115 kilometers) east of the Lesser Antilles in the Caribbean and had maximum sustained winds of 45 miles per hour (75 kilometers per hour), a Miami-based weather forecaster said.
