Paleontologists have discovered for the first time a fossilized Tyrannosaurus rex with its last meal preserved in its stomach. It turns out that this dinosaur was a voracious eater, eating only select parts of its prey and discarding the rest.
This discovery confirms what researchers have long suspected. Juvenile Tyrannosaurus rex-like creatures used their blade-like teeth to tear through the flesh of small prey, while adults had bone-crushing bites that targeted large herbivores.
