Enjoy your favorite Starbucks drinks while on board your cruise in the middle of the ocean. Plus, for just about $13 a day, you get unlimited drinks on board. Don’t get too excited yet. While not all cruise lines have this offer, a passenger shared in a viral PSA that you can take advantage of this offer if you’re traveling on Norwegian Cruise Line.
On TikTok, user Stacy Ballinger (@stayseebee), who is on a week-long cruise in Norway, takes pictures while carrying two large (in Starbucks terms, similar to a Venti or Trenta) iced coffee or frappe. It is shown doing so.
She explained that she got an unlimited Starbucks package and paid about $70 for the duration of her trip. Ballinger added that the promotion allows customers to get as many drinks as they want with every transaction. “This is a really good deal,” Ballinger said.
While she was drinking several drinks at the counter, terms of service Clearly state that technically eligible guests (aka guests who pay for the package) are only allowed one drink per transaction.
We’re giving you proper warning in case you try to hack Barringer and are rejected. Baristas on each cruise may have different levels of tolerance for the rules. Ballinger also said she paid $70 for the package, but the listed cost is $12.95 per person per day on the cruise. Also, at checkout he expects a 20% tip and drink service charge.
Overall, it’s probably only worth it for people who plan to drink at least 2-3 drinks every day (and who avoid coffee buffets).Starbucks’ drink package is one of many. provided on board. Other options include the Unlimited Soda Package (with endless fountain sodas flowing), the Hawaii Drinks Package, and the Open Bar His Package for those 21 and older.
TikTok had more than 2.6 million views and 2,400 comments as of Sunday afternoon.
@stayseebee Norwegian Cruise!
Some have pointed out that Ballinger made a Starbucks video during the boycott. The coffee giant is currently being boycotted by pro-Palestinian people and groups amid allegations that the company supports Israel.
“No, Starbucks is cancelled,” one commenter wrote.
But others said they weren’t concerned about the boycott or were completely enthusiastic about the deal.
“I definitely want to do that and I’m not going to boycott it because it’s so great,” one person said.
The top comment read, “They’re going to lose money on me.”
“Girl’s math on this is crazy…Cruise + unlimited Starbucks for $70 = free cruise,” a viewer wrote.
Starbucks has also recently been in the news following the confusion surrounding the Stanley Cup, which collaborated with Target on a pink Valentine’s Day cup. The water containers sold out quickly, and people were literally fighting over them.
The Daily Dot reached out to Ballinger for comment via email.
