The one-hour flight between Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, has become the world’s busiest international flight this year, underscoring the scale of Asia’s post-COVID-19 travel recovery.
According to OAG, the number of seats increased by 50% from last year to 4.9 million. The same route ranked third in 2022 and second before the pandemic.
