Hunters are better able to do this than other classes for two reasons. First, they can use ranged weapons, which eliminates the opportunity for enemy mobs to parry or evade. This is a huge boon, as the higher the mob’s level than the player, the more likely they are to do so.
Another important point is that ranged attacks are not affected by blows. This means that normal attacks will deal full damage if you hit them. Combined with the immense power of Season of Discovery’s Hunter Scorpid pet, this class is capable of incredible things.

Hunter’s powers have sparked a huge discussion, including in the comments below this latest post. One person said:[Hunters] It kicks and screams when it takes damage from nerfs. Remember when Explosive Shot was nerfed, they were still the top DPS in BFD? They blew up the forums because of it. ”
Class balancing is always a work in progress, so Hunter may receive further nerfs in the near future. What the DPS situation looks like after these changes are made may be further affected later in the game. For now, the humble hunter is enjoying his time in the sun.
